Use of the Paytm Services
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before registering, browsing, downloading, or using the Paytm website located at paytm.com.
All associated sites link to paytm.com, the Paytm mobile application, or any similar platform on any device before availing of any services offered by Paytm.
These may include recharge or bill payment, digital products, semi-closed wallet service, and marketplace service.

1. Communication Policy
By accepting the T&Cs, You get the following
Paytm may send alerts to the mobile phone number provided by You while registering with Paytm.
A platform for the SSOID service or any updated mobile number subsequently provided by You on the Paytm Platform, or via e-mail or push notifications.
The alerts will be received in the SMS case, only if the mobile phone is in ‘On’ mode to receive the SMS.
In the case of an e-mail, only if the e-mail servers and e-mail ids are functional.
In the case of push notifications, if the user has enabled the receipt of such statements.
If the mobile phone is in ‘Off’ mode or if the e-mail servers or ids are not functional,
Or if the push-notifications feature has been turning off, you may not get the alert or get delayed messages.
Paytm will do its best to provide alerts via SMS/e-mail/push notifications, and it deemed that You shall have received the information sent.
2. Prohibited Conduct
By accessing or using the Paytm Platform or Paytm Services, You agree not to violate the T&Cs.
To impersonate any person or entity, falsely claim or otherwise misrepresent Your affiliation with any person or entity.
Or otherwise, avail of Paytm safe Services with what we reasonably believe to be potentially fraudulent funds.
The infringe our or any third party’s intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, or privacy.
3. Limitation of Liability and Damages
In no event, Paytm or its contractors, agents, licensors, partners, or suppliers will be liable to You for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, reliance, or exemplary damages.

4. Bill Payments and Digital Products Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before registering, accessing, browsing, downloading, or using Paytm.
On any device and before availing any travel, recharge or bill payment or digital products related services offered by Paytm on the Paytm Platform.
5. Refund Policy
All sales of prepaid recharge on the Paytm Platform are final with no refund or exchange permitted.
You are responsible for the mobile number or DTH account number for which You purchase the prepaid recharge and all charges that result from those purchases.
Paytm is not responsible for purchasing prepaid recharge for an incorrect mobile number or DTH account number.
Your card or bank account and recharge are not delivering within 24 hours of completing the transaction.
6. No Warranties
Paytm and its third-party partners disclaim all warranties or guarantees to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law.
Whether statutory, express or implied – including, but not limited to, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement of proprietary rights.
Paytm does not warrant that the Paytm Services will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the site will be corrected.
Is the Economical Model of Transaction through Paytm secure?
Yes! The money stored securely in your Paytm Cash account is on a PCI DSS certified security business platform that uses VeriSign’s trusted technology.

How to Use Paytm?
To use Paytm, you must first have a Smartphone.
Second, you must have a debit or credit card.
In case you don’t have a debit/credit card, you can transfer the money to your Paytm account through a Paytm retailer who can transfer money to your account using your own Paytm account.
You can charge a nominal fee for this.
Once the application is installing, launch the application.
Create an account by entering the necessary information and following the instructions on the screen.
To complete the registration process, you will be asking for an OTP or a unique password.
Enter the OTP that you receive via SMS.
Now, set a password for your account. Once done, log into the store.
The advantage of using Paytm is that the same login details can access Paytm through a web browser to make online payments.
Authenticate your transaction using OTP or 3D Secure PIN, and voila!
Once you have the required amount in the wallet, you can use it for payment.
Most local stores accept Paytm.
